Riker was born Nov 26, 2009 and comes to us from from his breeders Sheila and Mike who breed Vizslas under the kennel name Dezertfyre.  His Sire and Dam were Bred by Jill and Jim Brennan of Jaybren & Tierah Vizslas. Riker has taken the ring by storm since his first show and went on to finished his Championship out of the 6-9 month puppy class. All of his points were earned with Major wins (4 of them!) and two of those wins were under Vizsla Breeder judges and one was by going Best of Breed over a campaigned professionally handled top ten special at 6 months! He also finished his Grand Championship and Canadian Championship at 15 months old.

Riker earned his Junior Hunter title at 18 months of age and still continues to enjoy working in the field any spare moment he has. Riker has earned multiple Award of Merits at numereous specialties including the National Vizsla Shows.  Riker picked up his Bronze level Grand Championship in the fall of 2012 and he finished his Silver level in 2014 and his Gold level in Spring 2017.  Riker has not been campaigned and is always owner handled.  There were few years there where he was only shown on weekends with Specialties.  He is also the highest GCH with titles in Agility, Hunt, Obedience, Rally, Barn Hunt, and Trick dog.  Riker is officially a "Veteran" now and only competes occationally.  He is training and trialing in Scent Work.
